Healing Your Internal Clock by Michael Koh
Something has gone very wrong in our ability to move in time with God. As humans, we often find ourselves frustrated, disappointed, confused, and out-of-sync with the way God moves and works. In spite of the fact that we know that "all things work together for good to those who love God and are called according to His purposes" (Romans 8:28), we are often disappointed with the way things seem to work out. Along the way to our destiny, we find ourselves at odds with God when He moves at a pace and in directions contrary to our expectations. Many people fail to come to peace with the way things begun in hope end in disappointment: the death of a loved one, a failed project, a relationship that promised much but ended in bitterness. This book begins to address how the clock of our souls may be restored to its intended pace. To purchase this book, please click the button below. |
What people are saying about Healing Your Internal Clock
When I first read "Healing Your Internal Clock," I felt like my soul was exposed to such deep scrutiny of itself that I had to take the following few days to be completely still. I recall purchasing a number of copies and giving it to 10 friends, who all had similar responses. In a generation where most books are a derivative of another book, "Healing Your Internal Clock" finds itself in a league of its own - completely ahead of its time. In the Christian tradition, we call these works prophetic. My heart, mind, and soul were penetrated in a way like never before. I found each idea and example that Michael Koh presented jumping through the pages and resonating in unusual ways. It was as if the book was written for me - for me alone. Somewhere in my autobiographical connection with the book did I realize that this was a word in season - A word that is so critical now, more than ever. Michael Koh's idea of thick time vs. thin time made me understand why I was not experiencing the fullness of God's presence and power in my largest endeavors. I realized how my fears, anxieties, false expectations, and ideas of eventness dictated my timing.
